I admire Phil Knight, the CEO of Nike. He made a business plan and started selling shoes out of the trunk of his car at track meets across the Pacific Northwest back in the 1960’s. He didn’t love the “swoosh†logo at first, but it is now one of the most recognized logos ever.
As of 2011, he now has a net worth of $14.4 billion and is the 47th richest person in the world. It goes to show you that you never know what can happen if you work hard.
I’m sure no one thought that he would be this successful when he was just selling shoes in a parking lot, with his car serving as the store front.
