What an honor to finally be a part of the iMADdu team! As a born and raised Egyptian, I grew up very privileged and fortunate yet witnessed daily ordeals of the lower classes. My childhood has made me passionate about making differences, small or large, in the surrounding world.
Mona has generously given me a blank canvas to build and paint my own experiences. I’ve come to notice that she ensures that interns gain the most knowledge and exposure in order to fully benefit from the iMADdu apprenticeship. Her motivation triggers my excitement to be a part of such a great organization.
Differences don’t need to be extravagant to be significant. Through iMADdu, I’ll be introduced to different material, means of communications, and even different expectations. All small factors that contribute to making a difference in how I push myself, how I perceive myself and how I communicate with other people. Such differences are without a doubt going to be beneficial in my future and will ultimately help me be the international developer I’m striving to become.
I am Yara Mowafy, and I’m working towards making a difference, are you?
