The one thing that drew me to iMADdu was the opportunity to work closely with small organizations through multiple projects. There are not many programs that offer the priceless chance to grow professionally and personally that iMADdu offers, especially to freshmen with little to no experience like me. During my high school career, I volunteered with the first all organic and fair trade chocolate factory in North America. Although I saw the company grow exponentially into a nationwide brand, I never got to participate or be as involved as I would have liked to. I like how iMADdu ensures the opportunity for freshmen to really get involved and feel like they are making a difference to smaller companies. iMADdu is also big enough, yet small enough to foster technical skills while building relationships with clients and fellow students in an intimate, but professional atmosphere.
Another main reason that I was drawn to iMADdu in the beginning was through reading the testimonials of previous students. Although many other organizations also upload and market themselves through testimonials, I felt that the ones from iMADdu were very sincere and the students really did love and learned a lot as an apprentice through the program. In my opinion, it is not hard for students to write testimonials, but it is hard to write ones that are truly genuine unless the students did feel as if they experienced life changing experiences.
