It is all but uncommon to have favorable experiences that is nice like drinking your morning coffee and having an unfavorable experiences that is just not your cup of tea. At iMADdu, the team effort is to make everything like your morning coffee.
It is impossible to make life perfect and to only have good experiences. However, unfavorable experiences can sometimes become more favorable experiences later in life. Regardless, iMADdu does not want any of their apprentices to be force fed a cup of tea they do not like.
Often times, interns are belittled and are not taken into full consideration. This is absolutely not the case with the Student Apprenticeship Program and I really came to this recognize this this past week.
Before assigning me onto projects, Mona pre-warns me or asks me if the project is something I would like to do. Also she checks up on how things are coming along with a project. Life can never fully accommodate to our needs, but when it meets half way it is very gratifying. Having Mona not just hear, but really listen to my voice even though I am a student apprentice with lots to learn personally means a lot to me. I’m sure many other students feel the same in this program. That makes me happy!
