Time Management…Yuta Kato

Time Management…Yuta Kato

One of the things I learned is about time management.  Usually, I am pretty good about finishing the tasks on time or way before the deadline.  However, since this is my first week as Director of Marketing for iMADdu, I have learned that I need to better manage my time and avoid procrastinating until last minute.  My original plan was to put a few hours during the week and finish the rest during the weekend.  But somehow, I ended up doing much of the work this weekend.  This week was very busy with going to business fest at George Mason University and the entrepreneur awards ceremony at The Tower Club.  Even though Mason SBDC (Small Business Development Center), where I also work for, didn’t win the award, I still enjoyed the time and networked with other senior executives who are members of the NVTC (Northern Virginia Technology Council).  In addition, this was my first time going to The Tower Club in Tysons Corner.  It was very luxurious event site where I needed to take two different elevators to get to the top of the building.

Therefore, for next week, I am going to try to put more hours during the week so that I’ll have more free time next weekend.  I am going try to work at least 3 hours during the week so that I can finish much of the work by Friday.  I believe that once I get used to working with two organizations, I would be able to find more free time and enjoy my last semester at GMU.
