My name is Yuta. This will be my first blog entry as many more to come. I just started at iMADdu as the Director of Marketing this week and one of my tasks is to write 3 blogs about what I have learned so far. Even though it has been only a week, I have learned many things about working for a non-profit organization. I’m not a big fan of writing a blog, but I believe that doing this task would help me for my future career.
Currently, I am attending George Mason University and planning to graduate this upcoming May. I am majoring in Marketing and minor in Information Technology. I am taking SOM 498, which is senior capstone course for all business majors. Last week, we needed to choose a group but luckily, I signed up with 4 other friends so we were able to form our group quickly.  Only disadvantage is that we don’t have diversified group as we consist of 4 marketing, 1 accounting, and 1 management students. From the past, I have heard that in order to do well in the project, the group should have at least 1 finance students. We are hoping that we could still do well without finance major and seek for other resources. One of the tasks for the project is to present in front of business professionals who are George Mason University alumni if the group do well in class presentation.
