Combining Work and Interests…James Freeman

To make work pleasurable, I look for a job that is interesting, and provides work that is interesting to do. That is why I came to iMADdu. iMADdu strives to not only give you hands-on experience, but provides you with work that you’re interested and/or targeted towards.

As the Technology Apprentice, iMADdu allows me to construct and create ideas for their website, organizational charts, and installing software. These ideas will come in handy once hired in my career of choice. Having these skills that I’m also interested in allow me to enjoy my work environment and doesn’t make me come to work “drained”

Since Technology is an interest of mine and it is what I do for work as well, It allows me to research and study freely even when not “at work”. This improves my technology knowledge as well as improves my skills on the job. Having a job that is of interest is very key to wanting to enjoy work. iMADdu is very helpful when looking for your area of interest. Before hiring, they look at your major, skills, and other topics on your resume that could direct them in the right direction. iMADdu wants to combine your job with your interest.

When working for iMADdu, you’re allowed to construct and establish ideas about how to make the non-profit better. You then get projects and all other sorts of activities pushed towards creating those ideas and making them apart of the organization. You also do a lot of research on items relative to your apprenticeship.
