Working with a Team, Not a Group of Individuals…James Freeman

I haven’t worked at many jobs, but I have realized one thing from iMADdu; there are no individuals on our team. Everyone is always there to help you as you are always there to help them. Today at work, I had to help a fellow apprentice with a technical issue (involving an e-mail account). It makes me feel like a part of the team and makes me feel important. At my current job, we don’t have a team (At least in my opinion). I feel the management team (about 15 of us) is a group of individuals. We all have different mind sets and none of us are on the same page when it comes to how to operate the park.

It bothers me every day I go to work there. I always struggle to work there without getting irritated and angry. I want to do something to change it, but the management above me disagrees. When I work there, I feel useless at times. At iMADdu on the other hand, we work together and always help each other out when we need it. The founder is always by our side when we need help with our job and always has a smile on, which makes us, put a smile on.

I enjoy a team much more than I thought I would have. I’m extremely shy and always felt like being an individual was better (since I trust myself over everyone else) but being a team is much more efficient for a business.
