Im·pact (v): Come into forcible contact with; have a strong effect. This definition of impact perfectly describes what I plan to with this opportunity. I want to make a difference, and to do so I need to use force; I need to have a strong effect on each person I work with, each piece I work on, each project I involve myself in. I need to use this newfound strong force to change the world. I don’t know if I can imagine the impact I could make on iMADdu, my impact will be more of a reflection. One of those, “oh wow! Look at what I have done†kind of moments. I do know that I plan to grab this opportunity by the horns and hold on for a wild ride. I feel this opportunity is going to make a bigger impact on my than I can on it, regardless of how strong my force is. There is so much I don’t know, and so much I want to learn, I feel like I’m just a pair of eager eyes trying to see the world. Although, I have noticed the trend of “one†seems to be running rampant in my ideologies. Yes, it takes one thing to make a difference, but it is this one strong force is what I am relying on to make that difference. One summer, one strong force, one difference, and one better world.
